A missed morning should cost a streak, not the whole practice.
Most challenge apps treat one missed day as proof that the whole attempt failed. That rule is easy to design and hard to live with. Win at Dawn keeps the record honest while letting the practice survive a real week.

Questions
What does Flexible mode actually do?
A missed morning breaks the current streak, but the day counter keeps moving and every earlier morning stays in the calendar. You can still open the last seven days and fill in a morning you forgot to log.
Is Flexible mode just a way to avoid discipline?
No. The record still shows the miss. The streak still starts again. What changes is that one bad morning does not erase a month of work or force you to begin at Day 1.
When should I use Strict mode?
When the restart is the point — for example, a challenge with a rule you genuinely want to keep. Strict can restart the attempt at Day 1 after a missed required morning, but the app asks you to confirm first and keeps earlier logs.
Can I switch between Flexible and Strict?
Yes. Switching to Strict applies from today, so earlier mornings are not retroactively judged. Switching back to Flexible keeps the current day counter where it is.
Does a missed morning delete anything?
No. Logs are never deleted by a missed morning or by a strict restart. Earlier attempts remain in your export and in the app’s history.
